THE DISCOVERED CHECK

Now, for the discovered check. This tactic is done by moving one of our pieces that is hiding a check by another piece. The secret to making this tactic useful, is to use to piece that is hiding the check intelligently by using it to place it in a place that it can capture another piece the next move.

Here, makes a discovered check with the bishop by moving its rook away and with the strategic positioning of the rook to b5 will be able to take the queen on the next move!
