THE DISCOVERED CHECK

Now, for the discovered check. This tactic is done by moving one of our pieces that is hiding a check by another piece. The secret to making this tactic useful, is to use to piece that is hiding the check intelligently by using it to place it in a place that it can capture another piece the next move.

Here, if white move their rook to b4 , discovering a check by their bishop, they will be able to take the queen next move!
